Shop Local

This web site came into being following a number of meetings by and with local traders and Formby residents. One of the most immediate outcomes was the 'Shop Local' campaign which was and is now vigorously supported by The Formby Times newspaper.
Those of us who support the campaign are pointedly shopping at our own local traders and trying to encourage others to do the same, I suppose another way to put might be - use it or lose it!.

I think it helps keep us all thinking about buying local... Would anyone reading this please pass on the word.. If we want Formby to stay the vibrant cosmopolitan town that is is we need to help the traders...
